Nottingham city council: PRS Landlord Database Pilot
Nottingham City Council are reaching out to invite you to participate in an exciting pilot study being run by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG), starting this September. The study will run for approximately 4–6 weeks and is focused on testing the new Private Rented Sector Landlord Database.
We are seeking 10 volunteer landlords who have properties in Nottingham City Councils boundaries to take part in this pilot. Participation will involve:
- Registering yourself and some or all of your properties on the new online portal.
- Providing feedback on your experience using the system.
- Helping shape a tool that will soon become a legislative requirement under the forthcoming Renters Rights Bill.
Full details can be found on the attachment from MHCLG PRS Database landlord info sheet
Your input will be invaluable in ensuring the database is user-friendly, effective, and fit for purpose for landlords before its wider rollout.
If you are interested in volunteering or would like more information, please register your interest to participate with James Lilley (james.lilley@nottinghamcity.gov.uk) by Sunday 10th August.
