A new ‘How to Rent’ guide has been published by the Government today (2nd Oct '23)

Landlords in England must serve the latest version of this guide to their tenancy at the start of any new tenancy or renewal (when a statutory periodic tenancy).

The lastest version has been updated with advice on how to access free legal aid services and support, regardless of financial circumstances.

It contains information on the Housing Loss Prevention Advice Service, replacing the Housing Possession Court Duty Schemes (HCPDS), which provides legal advice to tenants at risk of eviction
