Oadby and Wigston Council held an Extraordinary Full Council meeting on the 4th February 2020 and designated South Wigston Ward as an area to be covered by a new Selective Licensing scheme.

The scheme will go live on 5th May 2020 and operate for 5 years.

This means that all private rented properties within the South Wigston Ward will need to be licensed 

DASH Accredited Landlords will recieve a discount on the Selective Licence fee
