From April 2016 we will see a number of changes to both Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support. Some of those currently receiving these elements of support may see a change in the amount that they receive.  The main changes include:

·         Welfare Benefits and Tax Credits amounts

·         Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support - Backdating for Working Age Customers

·         Temporary Absence from Home

·         Benefit cap reduced

·         Removal of Family Premium
