Landlord prosecuted in South Kesteven
On 19 November 2018, Tomasz Sobierajski, the landlord of 77 New Beacon Road, Grantham, pleaded guilty at Lincoln Magistrates Court to failure to comply with two Improvement Notices served under the Housing Act 2004 in October and November 2017. The notices were in relation to Category 1 and 2 hazards which were present relating to water supply, electrical hazards, damp and mould and fire safety.
He was given a band C fine of £513, a victim surcharge of £51 and ordered to pay the Council’s full costs in the sum of £3034.65.
