Universal Credit
As previously reported, Universal Credit rolled out earlier this year in some areas of Lincolnshire, including Boston which currently has 160 Universal Credit live cases.
Following changes to the Universal Credit Housing Element, landlords can now apply straight away for a Managed Payment direct to them where there is good cause. This is particularly useful for vulnerable tenants.
To apply for this Landlords should complete Form UC47.
