Government Response/consultation outcome on banning order offences
DCLG also published the outcome of consultation on proposed banning order offences:
The government has added to the list of offences proposed in the original consultation paper, see the sections on:
o “relevant housing offences”
o “other criminal offences”
Regulations are expected to come into force on 6 April 2018.
Guidance will be published for local authorities and hopefully we will see a draft of that before it is published.
