As criminal investigators Local Authority Housing Officers have a duty to record material that we have viewed and inspected.

This is where our pocket notebook comes in.

Our pocket notebook will be used to record a range of material throughout the course of our investigation, but it's important that this is done in line with the pocket notebook rules to ensure that it can be referred to appropriately within any legal proceedings.

This session will cover what the pocket notebook rules are and how to ensure you adhere to them.
