Course Content:
This course supports delegates to build their knowledge of basic construction methods of typical residential buildings and the most common visible building defects likely to be encountered within their role.
The course includes the correct terminology to describe residential construction elements, helping delegates to communicate more efficiently and effectively within their role. This session is ideal preparation for delegates who will be completing future inspections to help build confidence with report writing and communicating defects with colleagues and contractors.
Please note: the link between defects, hazards and the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) is referenced, but this course does not include in depth information regarding HHSRS or HHSRS calculations.
