EU Settlement Scheme – help available in Lincolnshire

As reported in the last edition of the newsletter the deadline for applying for the EU Settlement Scheme is fast approaching.  Applications must be made before 30th June 2021. It is free to apply and the scheme is open on the government website. For further information, see: https://www.gov.uk/settled-status-eu-citizens-families  

Citizens Advice South Lincolnshire can support EU citizens with their applications for ‘Settled’ or ‘Pre-settled’ status under this scheme.  Landlords are encouraged to signpost their tenants to this free service if they need support with their application.

The EU Settlement Scheme was introduced by the UK Home Office to ensure that EU, EEA or Swiss Citizens can easily apply for the right to continue living and working in the UK after 30th June 2021.
