Virtual forum for landlords to help plan for student return during the pandemic
Landlords of student properties in Loughborough are invited to a virtual forum which will include advice and support on coronavirus guidelines.
The Virtual Landlords Forum is being hosted by Charnwood Borough Council and is open to anyone who has a property with students as tenants.
The event is on Wednesday, September 23 at 11am and you can sign up online.
Many Loughborough University students are due to return to the town at the end of the month and the academic year at Loughborough College is already under way.
The forum will include representatives from the borough council, Loughborough University, Loughborough College, Leicestershire County Council, DASH and NLA, a joint-working initiative with local authorities, property owners and landlords.
Cllr Paul Mercer, lead member for private housing, said: “It is very important that landlords have all the necessary measures in place to help their tenants keep safe. This forum is an opportunity to get some advice and support and talk to key officers and representatives from a range of organisations.
“We all need to work together to keep people safe.”
