Important news for landlords in NORTHAMPTON
Calling all landlord with properties in the Northampton area - have you had your say on the Council's HMO planning consulation??????
An eight-week consultation period on determining planning applications for Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs) in Northampton is currently underway, running until 2nd October 2014.
Northampton Borough Council has drafted an Interim Planning Policy Statement which outlines the processes the council intends to follow in considering planning applications relating to the change of use of a home to a shared HMO dwelling.
The draft statement provides guidance for landlords and property owners who might be considering submitting an application and makes recommendations relating to facilities.
